The Aquaponic Cycle

Aquaponics is the cultivation of fish and plants together in a symbiotic environment.

Stage 1

Our fish are raised in freshwater tanks where they swim, eat, and produce ammonia-rich waste

Stage 2

The soiled water is pumped through a bio-filter where nitrogen-fixing bacteria convert waste into nutrient

Stage 3

Plants absorb the nutrient-rich effluent, returning clean water back into the fish tank

Our systems are free from synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
